Originally the figures were produced in 6 piece single row boxes, using reproductions from original and genuine Britains hollow cast cavities but using moden prodution techniques. the range grew over time and incorperated new models that carried the look & feel of the older ones but at the same time were distinctly new. The series went off in new directions starting with the Centenary Collection & followed later with the Indian Army, American Civil War and Crimean War series.
